MAPPEM Geophysics has developed a new fast inversion algorithm, FastInv, to provide near-simultaneous resistivity models to improve and guide electromagnetic acquisition campaigns.

Our last measurement campaign in the Philippines allowed us to apply and validate the algorithm. At the end of the day, our customers will now be able to obtain the first recorded results.

FastInv is a highly reliable code compared to conventional 2D inversion software and is also easy to adapt. We can add geological or seismic information known a priori (seismic horizons, etc.) in order to further improve the resistivity models obtained.
